Elemental magic essential part of spell work. Each element represents a different type of energy that you can harness for your spell. When casting a circle you call in all the elements, however certain types of spells will call for a stronger emphasis on certain elements.
There are five elements that we work with when casting a spell:
- Earth
- Air
- Fire
- Water
- Spirit.
Earth Elemental Magic
The element of earth is the foundation of all life. The colour green and the northern quarter align with the element of earth. It is particularly powerful in spells that require wisdom and spells for fertility, prosperity, strength and wealth.

Air Elemental Magic
The element of air is light and it is fuel for all living things. It is represented by the colour yellow and the eastern quarter when casting a circle. Spells for renewal, change, intuition and knowledge call upon air.

Fire Elemental Magic
The element of fire is a source of creation and destruction of life. It is represented by the colour red and the souther quarter when casting a circle. Spells for passion, inspiration, intuition, creativity and protection use fire.

Water Elemental Magic
Water represents the flow of life. It is represented by the colour blue and the western quarter when casting a circle. It is powerful when used in spells for healing, peace and compassion.

Spirit Elemental Magic
The spirit is life. It represents our soul and the divine aspects of life. Spirit is perhaps the most difficult of the elements to describe because it isn’t tangible. It represents our connection to the astral plane.

Hi Andrew, I don’t do blood magic and I haven’t come across anyone on line that I’d recommend either. If I find someone I’ll be sure to let you know though!
